The library offers a variety of free weekly yoga classes. All levels of experience are welcome. Classes are taught by 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Instructor, Leah Pacione. Chair and Gentle Yoga are held in the Charlie Goodspeed Community Room and Family Yoga is held in the Children’s Room after Story Time.
Chair Yoga – Mondays at 10:15 a.m.
Gentle yoga postures are explored in different variations while sitting, standing and balancing during this yoga class. Connect your mind, body and breath with the support of a chair.
Gentle Yoga – Mondays at 11:15 a.m.
Start your week off with a new mindset. In this monthly series, a specific area of the body will be targeted throughout the yoga practice. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and be ready to release and relax.
Family Yoga – Tuesdays at 11:45 a.m.
Slow down and stretch with family yoga; it’s a great opportunity for children and parents to have fun and stay healthy together!
